We know entering a brand new fitness community can feel daunting at first. Here are some helpful rules of the road that will make you feel like a veteran in no time.

ETIQUETTE

Arrive early. Planning to get to the studio about 15 minutes before class time will ensure you’re clipped in and ready to ride with no stress or rush.

Unplug. Leave your cell phones and other electronic devices with the rest of your belongings outside of the bike room. We expect all of our riders to respect each other’s time - you made a commitment to yourself, and we want you to honor that.

Be mindful. During class, music will be bumping through the speakers and the instructor will cue parts of the workout routine. Be sure to stay in the present moment, listen and follow along as best you can with the rest of the room. When the room rides together, the energy can’t be beat.

POLICY

Expiration Policies:

  • Our per-class pricing options do not expire!
  • Our monthly memberships expire 30 days after the date of the rider's first visit.
  • Our 1 Month (3 rides/week) membership is a 12 class per-month restriction. It is a great option for riders who average 3 classes per week and also for more frequent riders who may be traveling in a given month. The 12 rides can be used as quickly as desired, but will expire after 30 days, no exceptions.

Reservation Policies:

  • You can cancel your reservation via your account.
  • In order to cancel a class at The Handle Bar, you must unreserve at least 12 hours before the scheduled class time. Once your bike is cancelled, the class will be returned to your package to be used at a future date. A late cancellation or no-show will result in the loss of the class.
  • For monthly unlimited riders: a late cancel or no-show will result in a $15 fee.
  • Please be aware that bikes will be released 5 minutes prior to class to wait-listed riders. If you are running late, please call the studio and your bike will be held.

Reservation Policies:

  • Single rides and packages can be purchased in studio or online. Bikes can be reserved online up to 7 days in advance.
  • We do not accept unpaid reservations over the phone or in person. A single class or package must be purchased in order to reserve a bike.

Waitlist Policy:

  • If you sign up for a class and enter onto a waitlist, the following considerations must be made:
  • By signing up for the waitlist you are signing up for the class.
  • You may get off the waitlist several hours before class (you will receive an email), or you may be added from the waitlist at the start of class due to no-shows.
  • If you are not present and your name is bumped off the waitlist, you will be penalized as a no-show.
  • If you do not plan to come to the studio and wait, you must let us know before class time.
  • By removing yourself from the waitlist prior to class time, you will not be penalized as a late-cancel or no-show.
