Carolyn Rasley

From a young age, Carolyn was always dancing. When she wasn’t dancing (or singing along), she was participating in every sport imaginable because she couldn’t sit still. When competitive dance became the sole focus in high school, she spent every night and weekend at competitive dance tournaments. A Minnesota native, Carolyn moved to Boston in 2012 to pursue her career in communications. She immediately fell in love with the Boston community and told her mom that she wasn’t heading home any time soon. With her exciting job came grueling hours and expectations. To relieve stress, Carolyn turned to indoor cycling and began investing more time in her personal health and well-being. Several years later, she realized she was spending more time focused on her passion for fitness and in 2018, decided to take the leap and pursue it full-time.

A graduate of Marquette University, she holds her B.S. in Public Relations and is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, serving as a certified Health Coach. When she isn’t teaching at The Handle Bar or playlisting in between classes, Carolyn can be found at the beach with friends, brunching at her favorite Southie haunts, or walking her French bulldog, Pippa.

If you could meet one person, living or dead, who would it be and why?

Rihanna. She can do no wrong and I know we would get along.

What’s 1 fun-fact that no one would guess about you?

I have two tattoos. If you ask me in-person, I’ll tell you what they mean.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Laying with my dog and eating all of the buffalo chicken-flavored foods I can find, preferably at the same time.
